The exam tests candidates knowledge of Western Civilization from 1648 to the Present the First and Second World Wars. Yields 3 Credits. The CLEP Western Civilization I exam is 120 questions with a 90 minute time limit. The exam tests candidates knowledge on the Ancient Near East to 1648 including the civilizations of Greece, Rome, and the Near East during the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Reformation and modern Europe. Yields 3 Credits. The CLEP History of the United States II exam is 120 questions and has a 90 minute time limit. The exam tests candidates knowledge of US History from 1865 t0 prestent, concentrating primarily from 1915 forward. Yeilds 3 Credits. The CLEP History of the United States I exam is 120 questions with a 90 minute time limit. This exam tests the candidates knowledge of US History up to 1877 inlcuding early European colonizations and the Reconstruction. Yields 3 Credits. The CLEP Social Sciences and History exam is 120 questions with a 90 minute time limit. The exam tests the candidates knowlege in range of subects from US History, World History, Government, Geography, Sociology, Psychology and Economics. Yields 3 -6 Credits. The CLEP Principles of Microeconomics exam is 80 questions with a 90 minute time limit. The exam tests the candidates knowledge of the behavior of consumers and businesses in the economy, workings of a free market, market factors and role of the government. Yields 3 Credits. The CLEP Humanities exam has 140 questions with a 90 minute time limit. This exam covers literature, art and performing arts such as music, dance and theatre.
